As of 10 October 2008, we have concluded our immediate response GustavRelief.Org initiative. Team BNO greatly appreciates your support and input. Through your generosity, we have accomplished the following:

220 new blankets & 1,000 bottles of water from countless individuals and 7 corporate sponsors which we delivered to 10 different points of distribution and or evacuation shelters from Houma, Louisiana to Jackson, Mississippi.

GustavRelief.Org was co-founded by two Evacuation Support Team members who are working to help rebuild Greater New Orleans.

We strongly encourage you to participate in our recovery, volunteer your time with us – The American Red Cross or any of the other non-for-profits [NFPs] and faith based organizations strengthening our communities.

Our purpose:
* Highlight The Greatest Need for assistance in Greater New Orleans & Baton Rouge.

* Coalesce individuals, NFPs, and companies around The Greatest Need and SOLVE IT.

* Advance the disaster and humanitarian relief work of NFPs in our area.

* Fundraise for Our Cause – to eradicate the great need for blankets in shelters.
